Jim joined the First Baptist staff in September 2022 with over 40 years of experience in ministry. After serving bi-vocationally for many years, he entered full-time ministry in 1992. Jim and his wife, Pam, have been married for 47 years and have 2 children, Jenny and Austin, and 3 grandchildren, Mathew, Madelyn, and Charlotte. When he's not preaching or studying God's Word, Jim enjoys television and yard work.
Braxton Edwards
NextGen Pastor
Braxton officially began his role at First Baptist on August 1, 2021. He completed his undergraduate studies at North Greenville University and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Braxton and his wife, Gracie, will celebrated their four-year anniversary in April 2024, and are passionate about serving the Lord whole-heartedly and sacrificially

Jennifer joined the First Baptist staff in August 2020. She received her undergraduate degrees from Columbia College and her master's from Liberty University. Jennifer and her husband, Jason, have three boys, Corey, Connor, and Thomas. When she isn't working, Jennifer enjoys shopping and

Pam Williams
Office Administrator
Pam joined the First Baptist staff in November 2013 and has over 30 years of experience in church office administration. She is a member of First Baptist Walterboro. She and her husband, Jim, have 2 children, Jenny and Austin, and 3 grandchildren, Charlotte, Madelyn, and Matthew. When she's not working, Pam enjoys teaching small group Bible studies and playing the piano.

The Ministry Assistant is responsible for facilitating efficient ministry and communication within First Baptist Church of Walterboro. Serving as a personal assistant and office receptionist, the Ministry Assistant utilizes their skills to benefit the church and carry out the ministry objectives of the staff to the members of the church and the community
