The Altar

God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his long-awaited son, Isaac, on the altar. But God stopped the sacrifice. He never intended for Isaac to die. It was a test for Abraham to prove his level of loyalty to God. He still tests us today to help us see what we are willing to place on the altar for Him.
