Peter had denied Jesus three times just prior to the crucifixion and was crushed in his spirit for having done so. However, the resurrected Christ had a meeting with Peter to assure him that his failure was not final. This same Jesus who conquered death and restored Peter will help us through our struggles so we can live victorious lives.
